Dear friends and relatives,

We apologize for not having kept you up to date. We still have been so busy as things did not turn out the way we were hoping...

After being transferred to CHEO in Ottawa from Toronto in February, our first transfer home happened at the end of May but only lasted a week. Marie-Ange had to be transferred back to the Hospital due to some respiratory distress.
We stayed for few weeks in June and then got transferred back home at the end of June where we stayed for only 10 days due to lack of nursing coverage and MA having had a mucus plug.

Since then she received a new medication for her mild re-flux that really made a difference. We are still at CHEO.
A lot has been happening since then including Marie-Ange catching pneumonia in September. Thanks be to God, it was caught at the early stage and after a week she was much better.
Marc and I decided to enroll in the Family Managed Home Care which is a Ministry funding program covering for nursing salaries. The parents then become the Employers and are responsible for dealing with the whole Human Resources aspect of hiring staff.

Since then we have been diligently looking for RPNS willing to do night shifts. We can not go home until we find at least 2 other RPNS, please pass it around. Our family home is located 3 hours from Ottawa...

We are not eligible for receiving the usual government funding therefore we need all the more your help to cover the additional expenses.I will give you few examples:
  • We have been renting a home for Marie-Ange since last February
  • Marie-Ange has a very sensitive skin...The only thing that work for her eyes is a very expensive eye gel (50$ every 3 weeks)
  • the additional lodging and food expenses while I am staying in Ottawa ( for instance we spent 1400 $ in hotel expenses since February..)
  • additional food expenses with a volunteer helping for 2 weeks (550$)The list goes on...
As a conclusion, we are still at the Children Hospital in Ottawa since July after only 17 days back to Barry's Bay.
Our hope for 2020 is to get closer to our family which can only happen if we find RPNS....
When we get there, we are hoping to build a studio for Marie-Ange on the side of the house. This is why we are calling for help now...

We need your help to bring our family together....

All our benefactor's intentions are included in my morning offering everyday, so all we suffer goes directly to you as a rainfall of graces. I believe our Loving God hears my prayer.
God bless you. May our Lord Jesus Christ fill your hearts and lives with abundant graces!

With much gratitude, Love and Prayer

PS: Mes chers parents et amis, veuillez me pardonner de ne pas avoir ce site en francais faute de temps...
