Create a peer-to-peer fundraiserOn August 15, 2021, the Biden Administration’s withdrawal of the American military led to catastrophic consequences for the Afghan people. Twenty years of military and diplomatic mission dissipated in the matter of hours as the Taliban swiftly took over. The Vulnerable People Project stepped in, holding true to the American promise: no one left behind. They have devoted the last year to evacuating and resettling American citizens, allies, Christians, and other targeted minorities. Additionally, they have aided thousands of families by providing food, safe shelter, and supplies. The projects continue, as they provide security guards for schools, open health clinics, dig for wells, and build roads.
Extra Mile is a program that will be geared towards continued aims to provide food, coal, supplies, and safe houses for vulnerable Afghanis and our allies stuck in Afghanistan. As winter approaches, it will be more vital than ever before to aid with food and shelter, especially for women and children.
