Hi,
My name is Amy Powell and I'm a 37 year old wife, aunt, dog and cat mom, and healthcare professional of 10 years. I just got married and graduated with my Public Health degree in 2020.
This was never going to be an easy. I never ask for help from anyone. But many have begged me to and I am now swallowing my pride. I'm a Respiratory Therapist of 10 years but I can currently no longer work the same job I got vaccinated for. My healthcare career I studied hard came to an official end on 3/20/22. I'm having to switch to a new health insurance plan. I am still waiting to see if they'll approve my long term disability. We haven't been able to pay our mortgage, and my medical debt and bills have piled up to the thousands. I've never been in a position like this before.
My husband is doing all he can but I was the breadwinner. He has worked so hard taking care of me and also trying to work and bring income in. He had just started a small business right before I got sick and he took a huge hit by having to care for me. I was denied workers comp, and short term disability is up.
On July 15th, 2021 around 5 pm I received my first dose of Pfizer vaccine. I walked into that clinic in perfect health. 24 hrs later, my cardiac symptoms began. I have a two diagnoses. I have multiple cardiac arrhythmias including ventricular tachycardia, second degree heart block, high rate tachycardia, bradycardia, and ventricular bigeminy. What is causing all this stress on my body is a condition called Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome. I also have a lot of BP issues and a plethora of neurological symptoms. I'm on medication which has helped but it isnt enough. My condition has not really improved so I have been accepted by Mayo Clinic to be seen in May. I'm also seeking treatment from a functional neurologist but that has costed thousands out of pocket already.
With my timeline and medical hx, they have come up with no other cause and have stated this is a plausible vaccine injury.
This vaccine wasn't added to the vaccine injury compensation program, so there are minimal resources for us.
God placed me in this position for a reason. And I firmly believe that reason was to fight for others like me. This is my lifelong fight! Help me get better, keep my home, and continue my mission to advocate for others suffering like me. I have been meeting with politician reps, assisting in a vaccine injury website, supporting others, organizing interviews with local news teams, going to rallies when I can, making videos on social media platforms, doing podcast interviews, and hope to keep expanding to fight against mandates, and getting funding/resources for vaccine injured. My mission does not stop with getting better.
Thank you for prayers or anything you can do for me!
