Sr Miriam Duggan and her team are devastated to report that the school for children from the slum in Nairobi, where they have educated and fed thousands of little ones for years, was destroyed last week in flooding that has ravaged the city.

The Irish nun now needs to buy a new parcel of land on higher ground for approximately $40,000 and then rebuild a simple structure that will allow her and the teachers to continue serving the poorest of the poor in Kenya.
