Create a peer-to-peer fundraiserPedro was born in a small town in the state of Bahia. In 2020, at the age of 20, he suffered a motorcycle accident that left him paraplegic.
In 2023, Pedro moved permanently to the Jesus Child Community in Petrópolis, Rio de Janeiro, to be under the care of the community's founder, Antonio de Mello. This year, the osteomyelitis affecting Pedro's legs became life-threatening, and he had to undergo a complex surgery performed by Dr. Mario Soares Jr. in Brasília.
Thanks to God, the surgery was successful, and Pedro is now back in Petrópolis to recover at the Jesus Child Community.
This surgery was performed with borrowed money due to the urgency of Pedro's situation, and the community is seeking financial assistance to pay the bill, amounting to BRL 82,000 (approximately USD 15,300).
We would be extremely grateful if you could consider helping or forwarding this LifeFunder campaign link to someone who may be able to assist.
