During the past year and a half, The Vulnerable People Project (VPP) has been supporting thousands of Christian and other minority families who had fled to the Nuba Mountains from the brutal civil war in Sudan. VPP works primarily with Persecution Project Foundation, a group that works directly on the ground with the Christians in Sudan.
After the latest year and a half of civil unrest and the monsoon season, a famine has hit, and it's devastating.
Children are starving daily, and the rest of the world has turned a blind eye.
But we can do something, if you agree to help. 
 
We can send thousands of Plumpy Nuts and BP-5s, emergency food bars, to treat malnutrition, to Sudan in just a week if...
...we can get your support.
Getting a starving little boy or girl these emergency food bars to save his or her life will only cost us $20 per week. 
We want to raise $80,000 as soon as possible to send in an entire month's supply of food to save the lives of 1,000 starving children.

Can you help?
Our strategy is to supply the four rural hospitals in the Nuba Mountains in the communities of Tujore, Gdel, Luwere, and Gigaiba as they will know the children who need these emergency rations to survive.
 
And thanks to our ministry partner on the ground, we have a direct way to fly in this emergency food.
